My name is Brant Crossan, I am a retired U.S. Ski Cross athlete who competed on the World Cup circuit for over a decade. I launched Wax Kit based on my personal experiences flying internationally for training camps and competitions. I know firsthand how expensive airline baggage fees are for both individual athletes and large teams transporting heavy equipment for just a few weeks. I often struggled with U.S. electrical tools not working in Europe, forcing me to stretch my budget to buy expensive replacements or heavy power converters. I also experienced the headache of buying and leaving equipment in Europe for 10 months out of the year, arranging hotel storage or paying for lockers is a logistical nightmare, and returning a year later only to find items stolen or broken can ruin the beginning of a trip.

I created Wax Kit to be the exact service my past self needed. My goal is to help emerging international athletes and established teams eliminate excess airline fees while providing seamless access to high-quality equipment.
